"Don’t go to Lombok if tick-mark holidays are your thing.

If the success of a vacation is measured by how late you partied or how loud the thumping music was, Lombok won’t be for you. Don’t go if you like to follow others – friends or influencers, ticking off the same well-worn spots everyone else has. Don’t go if crowds give you a rush, or if you need a new form of entertainment every day. If this describes you, don’t go to Lombok.

Destinations, like job roles, should ideally be a match for each person. There’s no universal ‘best’ destination, just like there isn’t a single ‘best’ job in the world. What matters is whether you align. Whether your expectations and interests mirror what a place has to offer. If they do, that’s when magic happens. If you’re looking for a loud, party-central holiday, Lombok simply isn’t the right fit.
